A Queens man who shot and killed a serial sex predator who'd raped his girlfriend in 1991 is a "model prisoner" and should be released from prison, an Albany judge was told yesterday.
John Valverde, 36, has been denied parole three times, despite letters of support from prison guards and politicians and a sterling prison record, supporters said.
