Hi friends ,here I am sharing the herbal beauty tips which I have collected over the years from my family,friends and from the megazines I loved to read and will keep adding more.
Summer face packs-
1-Mix 2 tsp grated cucumber+1 tsp lemon juice and apply on your face,wash off after 20 minutes.
2-Apply grated tomato paste with soft brush all over your face and neck.wash off with cold water.It closes open pores
3-3 tsp watermelon paste+1 tsp milk powder,apply on your face and wash off after 15 minutes.
4- Mix 3 tsp papaya pulp+3 tsp milk powder.apply on your face and neck and rinse off after 15 minutes,it helpes to remove dead skin.
for oily skin-
1-Sandal powder-1 tsp +turmeric-1 tsp+orange juice 3 tsp,mix well and apply on your face for 15 -20 minutes and then wash well with water.
for Normal skin-
1-Milk powder-2 tsp,lavendar oil-3 drops,rose water-3 tsp,mix well and apply on your face,wash off after 15-20 minutes.
For Dry skin-
1-Mix 1 tsp almond oil with 3 drops of glycerin.massage your face and skin for 5 minutes and then wash off with water.
2-Take 2 tsp honey and 1 tsp lemon juice mix and apply on your skin.
3- 1 tsp cream/malai,2 tsp almond powder,1/2 tsp honey,mix and apply on your face ,scrub and wash off after 15 minutes.
4-Mix 1 tsp castor oil,1 tsp sunflower oil,massage and wash after 10 minutes.
5- 1 tsp mashed banana+1 tsp papaya+1/2 tsp honey+1 tsp lemon juice ,apply on your face then put cucumber slices all over the pack,wash off after 10 minutes.
6-Massage the skin with 2 tsp each of almond oil and honey,wash off after 15 minutes.
Glowing and Nourishing face packs
1-Multani mitti/fullers earth powder-3/4 tsp+red sandal powder-1/2 tsp+papaya paste-3 tsp,mix well and apply on your skin for 20 minutes then wash off with water.
2-Honey-1/2 tsp+mashed banana-3 tsp+mashed grapes-2 tsp+milk powder-1 tsp,mix well and apply on your face for 20 minutes.wash off with water.
3-1 tsp yoghurt+1 drop of honey,1/2 tsp lime juice,little rose water.mix and apply on your skin,after 10 minutes rub gently in circular motion then wash off with cold water,can be done on alternate days.
4-Mix equal quantity of glycerine,rose water and lemon juice and store in a glass bottle,daily use as a moisturizer.
Pre bath mixture/substitute for soap-
1- Mix 2 tsp of red masoor daal powder/red lentil,2 tsp of rice flour,1 tsp oatmeal powder,1/2 tsp fullers earth and 1 tsp of camphor powder,store in a jar and apply the required quantity daily by adding enough cold milk to make a loose paste and rubbing all over your body.
2-Take Gramflour-2 tsp,olive oil-2 tsp,masoor daal powder-1 tsp,pinch of turmeric,1 tsp lemon juice,add fresh milk and make a paste,apply on your face for 15 minutes then rub and wash off with cold water.
Dandruff solutions-
1-White vinegar-1/2 tsp,clove water 12 drops(boil 5 cloves in 2 tbsp water),4 ts neem water(boil 12 neem leaves in in 4 tbsp water)+almond oil-1 tsp,massage in your scalp ,keep overnight and wash off in the morning with a mild shampoo.
2-Fuller's earth/multani mitti 2 tsp+1 tsp neem leaves powder, 1tsp shikakai powder+2 tsp sour yoghurt+2 tsp coconut oil.mix and apply on your scalp,keep for 2 hours and then wash off.
3-1 tbsp ornage peel powder,2 tsp lemon peel powder,1 tsp lemon juice,1 tbsp yoghurt,mix and apply on your scalp for 1 hour then wash off with gram flour mixture or with a mild shampoo
Warts-
1-Apply castor oil daily.
2-Apply little lime stone powder/chuna,on a sharp pointed ginger piece and daily rub the wart with this,will fall off after few days.
3- Tightly tie a hair from horses tail around the wart,wart will fall off after few days.(tying of sharp horse hair stop the blood circulation and thus it falls off eventually)
4- Mix equal quantity of black pepper powder and alum powder/phitkari and mix little water to make a paste,apply 3 times a day on the warts.
Dark knuckles and elbows-
1-Massage the dark area with coconut oil and then apply sugar granules and lemon juice mixture,scrub till the sugar melt down completely,should be done daily.
2- Daily rub lemon juice on the effected areas before going to bed.
3-Always keep them moisturize with a good lotion.
Dark armpits-
Take 2 tsp of riceflour,2 tsp sandalwood powder,2 tsp oatmeal powder mix with juice of 1 lemon and enough milk to make a thick paste,apply and scrub until the granules start to fall off,do this daily before a bath
Pigmentation-
1-Mix 1 tsp tomato juice,lime juice and a pinch of turmeric ,apply it evenly on the skin and leave it overnight.
2-Mix 1 tsp green gram powder,pinch of camphor powder,2 tsp of sandal powder and 1/4 glass of coconut water,apply on your face and wash off after 15 minutes
3-Mix 1 tsp juice of tulsi/basil leaves, 1tsp apple juice,2 tsp lemon juice,mix and apply on your face for 20 minutes and then wash off with lukewarm water.
4- Grate white raddish ,squeeze the juice and apply on the pigmentation,wash after 10 minutes.
5-Apply sour curd all over your face and neck,and wash off after some time.
6-Grind equal quantity of chiroli,red lentil and mustard seeds and make a paste with milk,apply on yoiur face for 20 minutes.
7-Mix lemon juice and honey in equal quantity ,apply on face for 15 minutes.
8-Mix red sandal powder,turmeric powder and amla pulpe and apply for 20 minutes.
9-Mix ginger juice,lemon juice,tulsi leaves,mint leaves and make a paste ,apply for 10 minutes on your face.
Pimple cure-
1- Skin tonic for pimples- boil 100 gms fresh mint leaves in 1/2 lit water.when cool ,strain and add 2 drops of peppermint oil.1/2 tsp of camphor powder,stir well to dissolve the mixture.store in a bottle and keep refrigerated.wipe your skin with this lotion 3-4 times a day.
2-Rose and camphor lotion-add a tsp of powderd camphor to 100 ml of rose water,wipe your t-zone with this several times a day.
3-Apply 3 tsp sandal paste+2 drops of clove oil,apply on pimples and all over your face,wash off when dries completely.
4-For sensitive skin-2 tsp fullers earth+2 tsp rice powder+2 tsp sandalwood powder.and mix rose water to make a smooth paste,apply on skin ,wash off when dries completely.
5-Mix 2 tsp fuller;s earth+2 drops of clove oil+2 tsp mint powder,pinch of camphor powder,mix and make paste with rose water,apply on your face ,wash off when dries up.
6-For oily skin-take 5 drops of sandalwood oil and massage into the effected area then take 2 tsp of dried green gram powder,1/2 tsp sandal powder and mix with rose vwater apply on your skin,when dries then dab with buttermilk and scrub off gently.
7-For oily skin-massage face with ice cold tomato slice which have a pinch og camphor powder sprinkled on it.
8-Mix equal amount of orange rind powder and gram flour add water to make a paste,apply on your skin ,wash of after 15 minutes.
9-Dab a paste of clove powder and water on stubborn pimples,wash off after 20 min(not for sensitive skin)
Hair fall
1-Neem oil-1 tsp+clove oil-3 drops ,almond oil- 1tsp ,mix and massage on your scalp
2-Mix surma/herbal kohal, with castor oil and apply on the bald part of your scalp.use for 3 months to see the results.
3-1/4 cup fresh grated coconut+4 almond powder+1/2 cup water .simmer for 15 minutes strain and use as a hair conditioner for 30 minutes then wash off.
4-Coconut oil-100 ml+castor oil-20 ml+almond oil-10 ml.mix and massage with this luckwarm oil to nourish your hairs.
5-Mix 1 tbsp green gram powder,3tbsp curd and use as a hair wash
Premature hair greying
1-Wash your hairs daily with a decocotion of amla or apply at night and wash off in the morning.
2-Make a paste of equal preportions of henna,curry leaves,amla powder,bhringaraj and aloe vera and massage on the scalp,leave for an hour and then wash off.
3-For internal use- take a mixture of 10 gms of triphal churan and honey at bedtime.
Dark circles-
1-Mix 50 ml coconut oil,50 ml almond oil,juice of 2 limes.massage this lotion under your eyes everyday and leave for 30 minutes and then wipe off with a cotton pad soaked in cold milk.
2- Take 2 tsps of coconut oil,almond oil and mix 10 strands of saffron .store in a glass bottle and apply 3 drops daily around your eyes every night,wash off with cold water in the morning.
3- Mix equal quantity of lemon juice and cucumber juice and apply under your eyes,wash off after 20 minutes with cold water.
4- Mix 1 tsp tomato juice,1/2 tsp lemon juice,pinch of turmeric, apply around your eyes and wash off before drying.
5- Mix almond oil and honey,and apply around your eyes,wash off after 15 minutes
To remove suntan.
1- Rub a slice of chilled tomato on your face and body when you came back from out side and wash off after 20 minutes.
2-For mature skin-take 1/2 cup of fullers earth/multani,3 tsp sandal powder,1/2 tsp camphor powder,2 tsp sandalwood oil,mix with rosewatewr and make a smooth paste and store in a airtight jar,tak ea scoop everday and massage and leave on skin for 10 minutes,then wash off.
3-Apply a paste of sandalwood powder and milk,when dries up wash off with cold milk.
4-Mix equal quantity of sandalwood powder,yoghurt and lemon juice, mix and apply on your face and hands ,wash off when dries completely.
5-Apply thick tamarind paste on your face and body,rub for 5 minutes and then wash off after 20 minutes.
Hand cream-
1-Mix together-1/2 cup fresh cream+half cup honey+juice of 2 lemons+4 tsp sugar granules and store this mixture in a jar,massage this mixture on your hands twice a day for 5 minutes and then wash off with water.
Face scars-
Eczema scars-
1-Massage your skin with pure sandal wood oil.
Chicken pox scars-
Take 3 tsp oatmeal and 3 tsp lemon peel powder mix with fresh milk,apply this paste on the marks and scrub gently,should be done daily.
apply coconut water daily on the scars and rub off gently when dries.(good for all types of scars)
Pimple scars-
3 drops of clove oil,2 tsp mint paste,3 tsp fullers earth mix with rose water to make a smooth paste,apply on the skin,when dries off scrub off
Acne scars
Mix together 2 tsp of each-sandal powder,masoor /red gram daal powder,gramflour,rose water and milk and apply this all your your face,when dries ,dab with milk and scrub off gently,should be done daily.
Burn mark-
Make a paste of red sandal wood powder,1/2 tsp honey and adequate water and apply on the scar,leave for 30 minutes and rinse off.
2- Daily apply lookman-e- hayat tel/ oil on the scars or burn marks.
Prickly heat
1-3 tsp coconut water+3tsp sandal powder,mix and apply on effected area,wash off after 15 minutes.
2-1 tsp chandan powder+1 tsp multani mitti/fullers earth +2tsp curd ,apply and wash off after 15 minutes
Itchy scalp
1-Take 4 tbsp of neem leaves paste and mix with 2 tbsp of fullers earth,a pinch of camphor powder,mix with cold water and apply this paste on your scalp,wash off after minimum 30 minutes,apply twice a week
Open pores-
1-Rub cold tomato halves on the pores .
2-Make ice cubes of 1/2 cup rose water mixed with pinch of camphor powder ,then daily massage your face with these ice cubes twice a day.
Head lice
1-Apply fresh apple juice with a cotton ball all over your scalp or directly rub a apple slice and massage for 20 minutes.
2-Mix camphor in coconut oil and apply on the scalp.
3-Apply onion juice on the scalp at night ,tie a cloth and wash off in the morning.
4-Mix 2 tsp vinegar in 6 tsp water andd apply on the scalp,tie a cloth over it and wash in the morning.
Corns-
1- Apply castor oil overnight and rub well.

Home beauty tips using every day products-
Drink lot of water; about 8 to 10 glasses daily and this keeps skin moist.
Make a powder of Lentil (Lenis culinaris) Mix it with water or milk. Apply this on the face. Leave it for 15 minutes. Then wash it off with water.
Smash Tomatoes and apply it on the skin daily. It will help to increase the glow of the face or any portions of body where it is applied.
Coconut milk application is advisable for a smooth skin.
Apply Honey on the face once daily.
Mash a ripened banana along with milk and apply it on the face; after 10 minutes wash it off with water.
Drinking Milk is also useful as it nourishes the skin.
For dry skin apply a paste of crushed Peaches.
Grate Potatoes and extract the juice from it. Apply this juice on the face. Potato juice gives tightening effect to the skin. It is also useful to treat puffiness occurring around the eyes.
Avoid Smoking.
Cleanse the skin twice daily in the morning and evening using a facial scrubproduct.
Have a massage of the body once a month as this relaxes the muscles and skin.
